Tanager celebrates International Women’s Day 2022 and recommits to gender & social inclusion

International Women’s Day 2022 is an opportunity for development professionals to sharpen our approaches to improving gender outcomes for the communities we serve. It is also a celebration of the women in our programs and organization who work tirelessly towards better gender outcomes for their communities. At Tanager progress towards gender equality is not a stand-alone issue – this work is cross cutting and integrated into everything we do, from internal policies to external interventions.

How does Tanager work for women throughout the world? We co-create solutions to so women have economic and social opportunities that change their lives for the better. In Colombia, Eliana Leaña Valverde lost her husband to armed conflict and was left raising her children alone.
