Cheryl Turner

Cheryl Turner has worked in capacity building and organizational development for more than 25 years, supporting both governmental and nongovernmental organizations domestically and internationally. She has brought insight, inspiration, and empathy to her management roles at Peace Corps and other youth-focused organizations. At ACDI/VOCA, Cheryl leads the development and implementation of core approaches to common problems experienced in a variety of thematic areas and contexts. She has facilitated training programs in more than 10 countries, with a special focus on producer group management, youth development, behavior change, and capacity building. Cheryl holds a bachelor’s in Russian language and literature from Bryn Mawr College and an MPH in health education and health behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
