Asha Ntakune
IGNITE Nutrition Expert
As a nutritionist, IGNITE Nutrition Expert Asha Ntakune brings both nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive programming expertise to the IGNITE project. She has more than 10 years of experience in international non-governmental organizations and government sectors, providing her expertise to the U.S. Agency for International Development, World Food Programme, and European Union agricultural projects.
In her previous roles, Ntakune provided technical assistance to local implementing partners and government staff aimed at improving nutrition outcomes through different agriculture interventions.
Ntakune holds a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and Human Nutrition from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania, and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
